Let’s Make Ourselves Understood for Deaf Ethnic Womens Association.

We were asked to produce a set of films to promote positive policy change for the deaf community in the UK.

At first, we were given a brief to shoot interviews from people in the deaf community about their life experiences from their own membership.

As our discussions went on, we decided that as most of the policy makers would be form the hearing community, we had to make the project as accessible to them as it was for the deaf community.

We then had the idea of bringing the two groups together to promote better employment, education and health policies by working together.
